Sheva brachos invitations with the right wording (and an RSVP)

A weeknight sheva brachos or a whole Shabbos: the hosts, the chosson and the kallah, the hall, the time — and a reply counted in seats, because a sheva brachos is seated.

The lineשבע ברכות · שבת חתן

The standard sheva brachos wording naming the hosts and the chosson and kallah; the Shabbos chosson and the bavarfen have their own lines.

Weeknight or Shabbos

A weeknight card is one time and one hall; a Shabbos card lists Friday night, the seudah and shalosh seudos as parts, with the Shabbos times.

Counted in seats

The reply asks how many seats, and the host sees the count by family — what the caterer needs for a seated meal.

A sheva brachos is hosted by friends or family, so the card names the hosts first and the chosson and the kallah after them. The designs here are the chasunah designs in a lighter setting, so the week keeps one look.

For the Shabbos before the chasunah — the aufruf, the bavarfen, the Shabbos chosson — the Shabbos-schedule card lists the times from candle lighting on, and can go to the whole shul as a notice.

Each sheva brachos can be its own card with its own list, or one card can carry the week with a reply per evening.

Questions

Can one card cover several sheva brachos?

Yes. Add each evening as a part with its own hosts, hall and time, and ask guests to reply per evening; or make a separate card for each host.

Does the reply count seats?

Yes. The reply asks how many are coming, and the host sees the seats by family and in total, with an export for the caterer.

Is there a card for the aufruf or the bavarfen?

Yes. The Shabbos-schedule card lists the Shabbos times and the kiddush, and can be sent as a notice without a reply form.

Does the Hebrew date come out right?

The Hebrew date is computed from the date, the time and the hall’s location, with the after-sunset rule: an evening simcha carries the next day’s Hebrew date, and the card can print the “אור ליום” form with the week’s parsha. You can override it by hand.

Does it work on a filtered phone?

The card is readable before any animation runs; the schedule, the maps, the calendar buttons and the reply form work without JavaScript, and a plain text version is one tap away. The message you send carries the names, the date and the hall as text before the link, so a guest whose phone shows no pictures still has the details.

What does it cost?

Designing, your guest list and a test send to yourself are free. Sending to up to 40 households is free; the Simcha plan is $49 for up to 400 households and the Chasunah plan $99 for up to 1,500 — one payment per invitation, no subscription. Pricing.
