Tallis & Tefillin

A folded tallis and tefillin on dark walnut — the bar mitzvah, the Shabbos kiddush and the bavarfen, each with its time.

The guest view opens the sealed envelope with sample names; nothing is saved. Designing is free; you pay only when you send past the free allowance.

Questions about bar mitzvah invitations

Can the kiddush and the seudah be on one card?

Yes. Add as many parts as the simcha has — a Shabbos kiddush, a Sunday seudah, a bavarfen — each with its own time and hall. Guests can reply to each part separately if you want.

Is a small bar mitzvah really free?

Yes. Up to 40 households on the free plan, with every standard design, the envelope, music, maps, calendar buttons and the RSVP. A small Hazmoneh line sits under the details, never on the card.

Does the Hebrew date come out right?

The Hebrew date is computed from the date, the time and the hall’s location, with the after-sunset rule: an evening simcha carries the next day’s Hebrew date, and the card can print the “אור ליום” form with the week’s parsha. You can override it by hand.

How do guests reply?

Every family gets its own link, with their name on the envelope. The reply is two taps: coming or not, and how many seats. You see who opened and who answered, and the list exports as a spreadsheet for the hall. You can also switch the reply form off and use the link for directions only.

Does it work on a filtered phone?

The card is readable before any animation runs; the schedule, the maps, the calendar buttons and the reply form work without JavaScript, and a plain text version is one tap away. The message you send carries the names, the date and the hall as text before the link, so a guest whose phone shows no pictures still has the details.

Can I use the card my printer designed?

Yes. Upload the JPG or PDF the print shop made, or email it to hello@hazmoneh.com. We wrap it in the envelope and add the maps, the calendar buttons, the text version and the RSVP. The link goes out alongside your printed hazmoneh, not instead of it.
